Below you will find Terms and Conditions, as well as Cancellation Policy for Activities, Accommodations and other services we offer. Please note that the Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy differ for different services. If you have booked several types or services (accommodation, activities and/or rental equipment) with us, kindly reviews all the sections accordingly.
Tours & Activities
Excursions, guided tours and experiences

- All prices given in offers and during reservation process are in SEK (Swedish Krona)
- Prices are per person, per night and/or per tour unless otherwise specified
- Reservation must be paid within 7 days after confirmation, but no later than 30 days before the starting date of the Activity
- Last minute bookings should be fully paid directly after confirmation
- Kiruna Guidetur takes no responsibility for mistakes made by the customer when booking.

- All communication regarding bookings, cancellations, changes, reductions, or confirmations must be submitted in writing via email to be valid. Please make sure that you get a confirmation when you make change/cancellation. Until then your cancellation/change are not accepted.
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the tour start date: full amount is refunded, excluding the booking fee of 250 SEK/person
- Cancellations made between 6 days and 73 hours before tour start: 50% refund
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of tour start: no refund.
- For supplier-operated tours (e.g. horseback riding, Sámi experiences, dogsledding) cancellations made less than 31 days prior to the tour date are non-refundable
- No refunds are provided for no-shows, late arrivals or unused services

- A surcharge of +300 SEK per person applies to tours between 24 December and 6 January
- For dog sledding tours, the surcharge is +400 SEK per person.
- The surcharge does not apply to transfers and rentals

- Tours / Activities require a minimum of 2 adult participants to operate. If a single traveller books a tour, the minimum charge equals 2 adults unless there are other bookings already
- Some tours require a higher minimum number of participants
- All tours are weather-dependent. If weather conditions prevent us from operating a tour, an alternative tour will be offered. Refunds are not provided. Changes may occur at short notice
- For tours including meals, any dietary requirements must be communicated no later than 7 days prior to the tour date

- A valid driving licence (car or motorcycle) is required. An international driving licence is not required
- All participants of snowmobile tours are required to sign a digital snowmobile agreement prior to joining the tour. The agreement will be provided on site
- Alcohol consumption before or during driving is strictly prohibited
- If a guest causes a collision resulting in damage to a snowmobile, liability charges of up to 8,000 SEK may apply

- A child is defined as up to and including 12 years old. From 13 years and above, adult prices apply
- If children are joining, their ages must be provided at the time of booking. Age limits may apply (see individual tour descriptions)
- Stated age levels are average recommendations. In very cold conditions, children may need to be older than the minimum age requirement. In milder weather conditions (no wind, no snowfall, temperatures around 0°C), younger children may participate upon request and approval

- Available pick-up/drop-off locations: Hotel E-10, STF Malmfältens, Camp Ripan, Best Western Arctic Eden, Icehotel Jukkasjärvi, Laxforsen Bridge, Aurora Camp Kurravaara
- No pick-up service is provided for guests staying at Scandic or Elite Hotel Frost, as both hotels are located within short walking distance of the meeting point for tours and transfers
- For supplier-operated tours, only selected pick-up locations are available. An additional charge may apply. Please check and confirm the available pick-up location at the time of booking.

- Private tours are charged based on the number of participants, plus 50% of the tour price for each empty seat (up to 8 seats)
- For groups of 8 participants or more, we charge the regular per-person rate for all participants plus 500 SEK per group
- Private transfers to tours cannot be guaranteed
- Please contact us regarding private tours, as some suppliers may not be able to arrange private arrangements
Accommodation
Aurora Camp Kurravaara and Arctic Island Lehtisaari

Aurora Camp Kurravaara: Check-in from 15:00, Check-out before 11:00
Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and must be agreed in advance.
Arctic Island: Check-in & check-out times align with the compulsory included snowmobile transfers (winter) or boats (summer); any changes in timing should be communicated in advance and upon extra fee.

- More than 15 days before arrival: Free cancellation (100% refund)
- 14 days or less before arrival: No refund
- No refunds are provided for no-shows, late arrivals or unused services

Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking will receive a full refund of the total amount.

- The booking must be paid within 7 days after confirmation, but no later than 30 days prior to check-in date.
- Last minute reservations with check-in date within 30 days must be fully paid within 24 hours

- There is no restaurant facilities at the camp site, so you should arrange your groceries shopping in advance.
- During winter season (between December 1st and March 31st) the 2-course dinner is served in the dining room at 18.00 (fixed time). It should be booked and paid at least 24hrs in advance
- Breakfast bags are available for pre-ordering not later than 24hrs in advance
- Any food intolerances and allergies should be communicated to Kiruna Guidetur at the time of ordering meals, otherwise meeting the requirements cannot be guaranteed.

- All guests are asked to leave the cabin clean upon check-out (make the dishes, take out the rubbish and take off the bed linen, leave key in the door)
- Instructions can be found in the cabins
- Cleaning fee 1000SEK per cabin will be charged if the instructions are not followed

Aurora Camp
- As staff is not always present on site, luggage assistance is generally not available.
- For those with mobility issues, it is possible to book luggage assistance – must be booked at least 48hrs in advance.
Arctic Island
- As the transfers are included to the reservation rate, your luggage will be delivered by either boat or snowmobile.

Aurora Camp
- You will find heated Reception room with tea and coffe making facilities upon arriving to Aurora Camp, to the left of the road.
- It is possible to leave your luggage in case of early arrival (before check-in) or late departure (after check-out), however please note that there is no supervision/guarding available so the things are stored under your own responsibility.
