Is it guaranteed to see northern light on the evening/aurora tours?

No, we cannot guarantee it, but we are of course hoping for it! In Kiruna the weather changes very fast and it’s hard to predict it. Aurora borealis is a natural phenomenon and can’t be changed by humans.

How big are the tour groups?

We are trying to have 8 guests per guide. If more than 8 people participate in the same tour, we’ll split the tour in groups or have more guides joining the tour. This is to make the greatest tour possible and to make it personal for you.

Where is the meeting point for tours?

If you didn’t choose a hotel as pickup spot, we meet in our office at Vänortsgatan 8 in the city center of Kiruna. If you choose to be picked up from a hotel, the guide will meet you in the main reception.

How many people sit on each snowmobile for snowmobile tours?

We always book 2 people/ snowmobile when you make a booking with us. If you want, you can take turn in driving the snowmobile during the tour. If you are travelling in a party you’ll share the snowmobile with one of the people you are travelling with. If you want to be a single driver you can book a single driver supplement. In the online booking you can choose this alternative when you book a snowmobile tour. If one of travel producers are helping you with the booking, please mention this to them. Please note that the single driver supplement are per person, This means that if 2 people wants to have 1 snowmobile each, they need to select 2x single driver supplement.

How many people sit on each dogsled for dogsled tours?

On dogsled tour where you drive the sled yourselves you are 1 to 2 people per sled depending on which alternative you choose at booking. On the tours where the guide is driving, you are between 4-5 people sitting on each sled.

How long in advance do I have to book?

We recommend you to book a tour long in advance if possible to be sure you get spots on the tour you’d like to go on. You can also book the tour at our office, but then we cannot guarantee that there will be spots available for the requested tour. We will try finding other options for tour you can join last minute.

Our purpose of the information is to ensure that you receive relevant information about the activity /trip that you have booked with us, both from a quality point of view, but also for your safety during your stay with us. When our business is finished, you have received your order and the deal is financially regulated, we will delete your information.
