Dogsled Northern Light

Witness the Dancing Aurora in Kiruna!

The eyes get used quickly to the pale light on this dogsled tour. The experience is very strong, unique and mysterious. Silence, stillness and action at the same time. The chances of seeing the northern lights is 90% if the weather is clear. When it’s at its best northern lights flicker across the sky in different colors. Coffee and sandwiches are served around the fire.

Price includes:

• Guide
• 4-6 persons/sled (guide drives)
• winter clothing (boots, winter overalls, thick gloves, warm hat)
• coffee & sandwich/fika
• transfer

Total duration includes: Time for transfer, changing clothes, break for meal/coffee

Distance covered: Up to 15-20 km

Departure point and start time: Kiruna Guidetur office at 17:00.

In March, due to the extended day length, the evenings are getting brighter making it difficult to see the Northern lights. The tour runs at the same time and is called Dogsed Sunset tour.

If you have booked pickup service: Please be on time. We usually have a couple of places to pick up guests. If you are late, we can not wait in consideration of other guests.

Please inform us if your over 120 kg, if you don’t inform us, we can’t guarantee you a spot.

Please note:

In March it won’t be dark enough to see Northern light so we run as Sunset / evening tour.

We charge 300 SEK per person on every tour from 24th of December to 1st of January.
