Explore the Winter Wilderness in Kiruna!

You start by learning how to handle your dogteam. Then, when you yourself loosen the anchor and the dogsled heads off rises a cool feeling. Freedom, excitement and nature all at once. The guide is with you the whole time and helps you if necessary. The basic rule is: never let go of the sled.

Two persons share a sled (about 5 dogs/sled) unless you upgrade to your own dogsled (about 3 dogs/sled).

For safety reasons persons under 16 years old are not allowed to drive their own dogsled team. However kids and youths may sit on another participants or the guides sled.

Price includes:

– Guide
– 2 persons/sled
– winter clothing (boots, winter overalls, thick gloves, warm hat)
– lunch
– transfer

Duration of tour: 4-5 hrs, depending on the weather, the track.

Total duration includes: Time for transfer, changing of clothes, break for meal/coffee

Minimum age to drive dogsled: 16 years old

Distance covered: Up to 20-30 km

Please inform us if your over 120 kg, if you don’t inform us, we can’t guarantee you a spot.

If you have booked pickup service:
Please be on time. We usually have a couple of places to pick up guests. If you are late, we cannot wait in consideration of other guests.

We charge 300 SEK per person on every tour from 24th of December to 1st of January.
