Meet the Majestic Moose on Horseback in Kiruna!
Seeing the king of the forest from the horseback is worth experiencing. The silence and the beautiful scenery give us a nice feeling of well-being and having a lunch of local specialties is a nice way to end the tour.
We pick you up in Kiruna and drive to our farm westwards. We drive through the moose winter land and the moose could appear close to the road if we’re lucky. After arriving to our farm we prepare the Icelandic horses and go for a tour in the forest where the moose use to be during the day. When we are on horseback we come closer to the animals than usual and on this tour we try to “tölt” with the horses if it is possible. After the riding we have lunch at our farm and then we drive you back. This tour is certified with the Swedish Ecotourism Society’s label, Nature’s Best.

Requirements
- 12 years of age to partake in the tour.
- Weight of 90 kg or less.
- No previous horse riding experience required.
