Experience the Northern Lights on Horseback in Kiruna!

Seeing the sparkling northern lights and a starry sky from the horseback is a fantastic experience. Relaxation at its best, in the dark we totally trust our four-legged friends and the silence is sometimes broken by the horses’ panting. Then having dinner and talking around the fire in the hut gives a perfect rounding of the evening.

We pick you up in Kiruna and go by car to our horse farm westwards. Together we prepare the horses for riding and in the winter evening we go for a shorter riding tour in easy pace through many hundred year old forest nestled against the mountain range. We hope we can see the beautiful northern lights and a clear sky with all the stars. We are probably going to see some moose during the evening. When you come back you will be served dinner consisting our local specialities like game or fish. You get to know more about animals, nature and culture while sitting around the fire in the goahti (sami hut). After that we bring you back. This tour is certified with the Swedish Ecotourism Society’s label, Nature’s Best.

Requirements

12 years of age to partake in the tour.
Weight of 90 kg or less.
No previous horse riding experience required.

Total tour time includes transfers to and from the stables
For tours between December 24th and January 6th there is a 300 SEK/person holiday addition to the tour price.
