Witness Nature’s Light Show in Kiruna!
The Northern Lights are a beautiful, natural wonder, and while no one can predict exactly when they’ll appear, this tour gives you the best chance to see them in the stunning landscapes around Kiruna.
Your guide will take you on a scenic drive through the region, sharing insights about the local nature, wildlife, and culture, and of course, the Aurora Borealis.
You will make a stop for fika along the way, where you can enjoy hot drinks and a “Fika” (light snack) while hopefully soaking in the light of the northern lights.

Disclaimers
We are based in Kiruna. Our guides are trained in what signs in weather and solar activity to look for in order to find good locations for seeing the northern lights, and will drive to where the odds seem to be the best each specific night. Sometimes, this is towards Abisko, but not always.
Many of our tours are weather dependent. Northern lights/midnight sun are natural phenomena, and we cannot guarantee that they will appear on your tour. No refunds will be made due to northern lights/midnight sun not being visible on your tour.
If we determine that tours are unsafe to run due to current weather conditions (e.g., storms or very low temperatures), changes may happen with very short notice.
For safety reasons, should temperatures reach -35°C and below, changes including but not limited to the following might be made to your tour(s); shorter driving distances, more stops, lower speeds, and/or changed routes. Should you no longer wish to partake in the tour because of this, you may change your tour to a different one, according to availability. If an alternative tour is not a viable option for you, we will refund the total amount of the tour.
